MICRO was founded in July 2003 by Dr. Franco Pirovano, initially to provide analytical support for his consulting activities in the food, nutraceutical, and supplement sectors.

Over the years, the company has grown and strengthened its expertise, expanding its service offering to deliver increasingly comprehensive solutions to its clients.

In 2009, MICRO received ACCREDIA accreditation for the first time, certifying that the laboratory’s work adheres to the UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (“General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories”).

A small gesture for a big issue

Whether it’s a passing trend or not, we don’t mind.

One of the primary goals MICRO set for 2019 (and for all the years to come) was to completely eliminate disposable plastic from the office environment. Today, we are proud to say that we have achieved this goal.

First, the use of plastic water bottles was banned. MICRO now purchases water exclusively in glass bottles, which are used by employees to refill their personal metal thermoses.

In addition, we have worked to eliminate plastic cups, coffee cups, and stirrers, replacing them with ceramic mugs, glass cups, and reusable metal teaspoons.

Finally, we extend our gratitude to the entire MICRO team for their proactive efforts in achieving this significant milestone.
